AN ESTATE WEDDING AT LAKE WINNIPESAUKEE IN MOULTONBOROUGH, NH

How cute are they, right? Funny story. Megan was sent to me through my friends at Beach Plum Floral. Her and I hit it off right away, and I knew I'd be a perfect fit for their backyard wedding! Fast forward a few months. Megan noticed my mailing address was familiar. Why? Because my husband and I had just moved into the house directly next door to her future in-laws. WHAT ARE THE ODDS!? (Thankfully we really like our neighbors!) This news made me even more excited to be a part of such a special day.  

Megan & Dustin's style? AH-MAZING! From her gorgeous gown from Ceremony Boston and Kate Spade sparkly shoes, to Dustin's Floral tie and stylish blue suit - I loved their look from head to toe.

Have I told you how much I love a great first look? These two surprised each other and brought some teary eyes to those around them. Can you feeeeeeeeeel the love? (I know, insert cheesy line here!)

After the first look, Megan and Dustin joined their Wedding Party for some great shots. If you're considering taking photos before your ceremony - it's a great idea! Not only does it give you more time to spend with your family & friends after you tie the knot, but everyone is hot off the press looking (and feeling!) their best.

2018 Trend Tip: BALLOONS! They can be used as props and decor.

The ceremony took place on the front lawn of their Family's home, up a winding driveway into the mountains. One word - GORGEOUS!

Dustin was super relaxed going into the day, this might be my favorite photo of a groom walking down the aisle, ever! Their ceremony was short and sweet, lots of laughs - and shall I mention the view?

After the ceremony, Megan & Dustin's family and friends enjoyed a cocktail hour on the front lawn. The food from Magic Foods Catering was super tasty - and I love the way they displayed the "bar" in a canoe!

The Silver Arrow Band provided music for their guests throughout the day.

Megan & Dustin spent some time together after the ceremony, guest-free. I always encourage my couples to take a break, and a moment to be alone during the day. It really helps them focus on the true meaning of why they're there, and enjoy it to the fullest. It truly does go by so fast!

The reception was setup in the backyard of the property. Megan's Dad is an excavator - if you can't find the venue, create your own?! This man did an INSANE job with this! A huge sailcloth tent, perfectly landscaped, bistro lighting, dance floor, bar "shed" - you name it! This venue makes me smile from ear to ear and transitioned perfectly from day to night. (Mr. & Mrs. L. - are you sure you don't want to lend this venue to other couples?!?! DREAMS COME TRUE!)

Simple decor with a pretty garland of greens lining the tables (Insert heart eyeball emoji here!) Beach Plum Floral & Event Design did a stellar job with the tent interior. I love how these tablescapes came to life!

Oh how I loveeeee using vintage windows! Megan upcycled these from a group of friends who have also used them at their weddings. (The broken window pane has HISTORY, people!)

Once it was time to get the best part of the day started, there was no shortage of fun to be had! Megan & Dustin started off the reception with an awesome first dance - and it only got better from there.

And everyone's favorite part of the meal (well, mine at least!) - dessert! I am obsessed with this (partially) naked cake from Cup & Crumb. The cupcakes were pretty amazing, too!
