A SOUTH SHORE CHRISTMAS TREE FARM WEDDING FOR A GOOD CAUSE

Katelyn and Adam joined us at The Christmas Tree Farm in Pembroke, which set the scene for a day filled with the delicious smell of pine trees, intricate wedding details and puppy kisses from the dogs at Brown Dog Coalition and Survivor Tails Animal Rescue (STAR). Two organizations that exist to rescue, re-home & rehabilitate these animals.

As a wedding planner & designer and lover of 4-legged doggie friends, I wanted to combine my two passions and help get local rescue dogs out of foster care and into their forever homes. What better timing than the holidays?

In collaboration with Danielle Engel from For The Love Of Paws, who got the adoptable dogs camera-ready for their big debut - Jessica planned a holiday-themed wedding in the tree fields and a winter-design to remember. Photographing the day was Rachel Buckley Weddings and Lauren Dobish – who couldn’t have captured it more perfectly.

Behind the scenes, Beach Plum Floral designed the most beautiful bridal bouquet, floral hoops and collars, as well as a gracefully detailed floral runner across a Coast & Country Rentals farm table to complete the perfect holiday tablescape. Elegant gowns by designers Amy Kushel & Jenny Yoo from Flair Boston graced the farm, prettied up by the girls at The Bridal Bar and Stephanie Ward Makeup. And who can forget the cake? A cable-knit beauty by Delicious Desserts rounded out the details on this gorgeous day.

All of the puppies here have since found their forever homes, but the three dogs featured (Sadie, Precious & McIntyre) are still in search of their permanent families.
