A CAPE COD SOIRÉE AT WYCHMERE BEACH CLUB IN HARWICH, MA

Cape Cod holds special meaning for Kaitlyn + Steve. Not only does Kaitlyn’s family have a home in Dennis Port, she met Steve on the Cape as kids while their families were vacationing in the summer! I loved working with these childhood sweethearts to bring their classic, coastal Cape Cod wedding to life. 

It’s always fun to include personal touches to your special day so after saying “I Do” at St. Pius X Parish, Kaitlyn + Steve made a stop at Sundae School, the ice cream parlor they would both frequent as kids. While taking pictures outside, the owners came out and surprised Kaitlyn + Steve with some ice cream - so adorable and meaningful!

Following their sweet (pun intended) moment at the ice cream parlor, Kaitlyn + Steve posed for some gorgeous portraits on the beach of the Wychmere Beach Club, as well as the overlook and pier. I mean, how stunning are these photos from Erica Ferrone Photography?!

Back at the Wychmere Beach Club, Guests were greeted by a custom hedge escort wall, covered in beautiful arrangements with accents of peach and blue blooms. Kaitlyn + Steve’s first initials decorated the middle.

Inside the Club’s Harbor Room, round tables draped in white linens alternated with lush, tall  arrangements and low compotes, and sparkling votive candles surrounding the base. Kaitlyn + Steve’s head table was a series of three farm tables, lined with gorgeous floral runners, spaced compotes and votive and tapered candle holders. Glass chargers, a classic white napkin and a sprig of greenery decorated each place setting. White Chiavari chairs added to that Cape Cod feel.

To cap off the evening’s festivities the BC mascot, Baldwin the Eagle, surprised Kaitlyn + Steve as well as their guests by showing off his moves on the dance floor. 

Once again, a personal touch like this can add so much to a celebration! Safe to say, guests will be talking about this moment for a long time.
