A DREAMY FRENCH-INSPIRED WEDDING AT THE PRIVATE WINSLOW ESTATE ON CAPE COD

Emily and Joseph's love story, beginning at Bentley University, blossomed into a breathtaking wedding that blended New England charm with French elegance.

Their journey began with college flirtation, study guides, and a first date filled with margaritas, tacos, and endless laughter. Five years after Joseph's heartfelt proposal, the couple set out to plan a wedding close to home but far from traditional Cape Cod style.

Inspired by Emily's father's years in Provence, the couple infused their wedding with French allure. Opting for a private estate by the ocean, they designed a week-long celebration for family and friends.

Days before the wedding, Hurricane Fiona threatened to dampen their plans. However, serendipity intervened, and the storm cleared just in time for the couple's first look, where the pair exchanged vows in private.

Emily's natural and romantic glam perfectly complemented the seaside setting. Choosing between two gowns, she ultimately embraced the romantic feel of a tulle and lace Madi Lane dress, paired with French blue Loeffler Randall shoes.

Joe, in a classic navy tuxedo with black lapels, accessorized with sentimental cufflinks and Negroni-adorned socks.

A lush garden-style arch, a non-traditional chair layout, and live classical music set the stage for a deeply intimate seaside ceremony. Escorted down the aisle by both her mother and father, Emily and Joe said their “I do’s” in the most romantic setting.

Following their ceremony, guests enjoyed a sunshine-filled cocktail hour. A custom escort display on toile wallpaper allowed guests to find their seats with take-home favor jars of Herbs de Provence.

The reception dazzled with floral installations, smilax-lined bistro lighting, and French blue napkins. The couple, passionate about food, curated a unique menu featuring freshly carved meats, sautéed pasta, and select wines from France and Italy. Their peanut butter chocolate cake, adorned with pastel buttercream florals, showcased their love for culinary delights.

Emily and Joe's enchanting French-inspired wedding concluded with a night of dancing under the stars, and what a night it was! It was such an honor to be part of your day, E + J!
