CHIC AND CLASSIC: A BLACK, WHITE + PINK WEDDING AT THE STATE ROOM, BOSTON, MA

From the moment Katie and Ben's wedding day began, it was clear that this celebration would be nothing short of magical. Nestled in the heart of Boston, their love story unfolded in a series of breathtaking moments

The excitement kicked off at the Canopy by Hilton Boston Downtown, where Katie and her bridal party gathered to prepare for the big day. Katie, glowing in satin white pajamas adorned with feather trim, was surrounded by her vibrant bridesmaids, who sparkled in matching leopard print robes. Amidst laughter and joyful chatter, Katie slipped into her stunning A-line gown from Kleinfeld Bridal, with the help of her mom and sister.

Katie then shared a special first look with her bridesmaids followed by first looks with her brothers and dad, creating memories that will last a lifetime. Meanwhile, Ben and his groomsmen were savoring their pre-wedding moments, raising toasts to the future and soaking in the excitement of the day ahead.

The couple’s first look on the hotel balcony, with the iconic Boston skyline as their backdrop, was a highlight of the day. The magic continued as they traveled by trolley to Fan Pier Park for group photos before heading to the stunning St. Leonard’s of Port Maurice for their ceremony.

After exchanging their heartfelt ‘I do’s,’ the celebration shifted to The State Room for their reception. The venue was transformed into a romantic haven, with twinkling lights cascading from the ceiling and soft candlelight casting a warm glow. A striking black and white checkered dance floor provided a stylish backdrop, while tables adorned with white and hot pink flowers brought a chic, vibrant flair to the evening.

Guests were greeted by a charming escort chart showcasing the couple’s new last name, ‘The Wessels,’ and hot pink place cards that guided them to their seats.

Katie and Ben enjoyed a private room reveal while guests mingled during cocktail hour. The couple made a grand entrance into their reception, sharing their first dance as husband and wife to “Better Together” by Luke Combs.

The evening brimmed with laughter and heartfelt toasts, as guests danced the night away in pure joy. The fun continued with a lively photo booth, where everyone snapped playful and silly shots, adding an extra touch of whimsy to the celebration.

Being a part of Katie and Ben’s incredible wedding was truly a privilege. From the stunning details to the unforgettable moments, every aspect of the day was filled with joy and elegance. I’m so grateful to have witnessed such a beautiful celebration of love. Here’s to a lifetime of happiness for the newlyweds and many more wonderful memories to come!
