AMANDA + ERIC
A DOWNTOWN WEDDING AT THE UMASS CLUB IN BOSTON, MA
Amanda and Eric are just the cutest! When I met them (and their two pups!) at their little apartment in Somerville - they were so excited about their upcoming wedding. Amanda has an incredible attention to detail, bestill my heart! As their day-of coordinator I couldn't ask for more. She showed me these silver dahlia placemats that were her design inspiration for the day, and the details only got better from there.
How awesome are these floral keds? COME ON! They couldn't help but bring a smile to my face every time they peeked out of the bottom of her gorgeous gown!
Amanda & Eric's officiant was Eric's Uncle Stephen - and he was HILARIOUS! He had all of the guests laughing throughout the ceremony and did a spectacular job. I love, love, LOVE when a family member is chosen to marry a couple!
Can we talk about this decor?! The ceremony aisle was decorated with different styles of lanterns, also displayed on the alter tables with gorgeous potted mums and blooms from Beach Plum Floral. Amanda & Eric chose a unity candle from Yankee Candle, a great little addition to the ceremony!
One of the best parts about the UMass club is the 360 degree view of the city, how awesome is this backdrop?
Amanda & Eric had some fun things planned for their guests! A scavenger hunt during cocktail hour out of the 360 degree view, photos of them and their guests for seating chart placecards and jenga pieces to sign for their guestbook.
This guest photo made me laugh, "Amanda is always right!"
The reception space connects to the ceremony space at the UMass club, so it's an easy transition right next door! The lanterns that were used for the ceremony had to be moved to the dinner tables during cocktail hour, how awesome are the lantern, table number & succulent details? Amanda & Eric also gifted a Polaroid camera to each table - and the guests had no idea one of them was going to take it home at the end of the night!
I love a good sweetheart table! This one was created with recycled materials from the ceremony. Doesn't it look great?!
Amanda & Eric started off their reception with a slideshow made by Amanda's best friend - I loved how much this brought a lot of their guests into their day with them!
And finally, let there be cake! When your wedding is on your birthday (and your sister-in-law's too!) - what better way than to celebrate with candles? How beautifully simple is this cake from Konditor Meister?
I think this about sums up Amanda & Eric right here. Congrats you two! I loved being a part of your special day!
