A SOUTH COAST WEDDING AT TABOR ACADEMY IN MARION, MA
Rebecca and Chris are such a sweet love story. They both attended Tabor Academy and circled back together later in life. Planning with these two was a breeze, as Rebecca had such a beautiful vision for how she wanted their day to play out. A stunning, coastal backdrop in a classic, Sperry tent - with lavish tree installations and hanging chandeliers. A true beauty!
Rebecca and Chris hand wrote their vows in keepsake books that said, “His” and “Her,” a wonderful way to preserve them for the future. And how gorgeous is this invitation suite by Shine Wedding Invitations?
The morning of the wedding Rebecca and her bridal party excitedly got ready. To prepare her for her walk down the aisle, Charlotte Phinney gave Rebecca soft curls and radiant makeup. She was absolutely glowing as she shared a sweet moment with her mother while her bridesmaids helped her into her classic wedding dress by Essence of Australia.
The couple decided on a first look so they could share a private moment before becoming husband and wife. Chris was so bowled over by how gorgeous Rebecca looked, he could barely take his eyes off of her!
The bridesmaids looked summer wedding ready in dresses by the Dessy Group. Their bouquets of pink peonies, white roses and anemones by KJ Floral Designs were dreamy and whimsical.
Chris and his groomsmen were also looking very coastal in blue suits by Joseph Abboud. Meredith Jane Photography gathered the handsome group together for a few last pictures before heading to the chapel.
The ceremony was held at Wickenden Chapel on the Tabor Academy campus. The large windows at the altar allowed the beautiful summer sun to stream into the chapel, bathing the couple in light as they said their “I Dos!”
With their vows said it was time to party - Tabor Academy stye! The reception was held inside Sperry white tents along the campus’ waterfront. Rebecca had envisioned tree installations climbing up the tent poles and Exquisite Events Light + Decor delivered.
Lush greens lined Rebecca and Chris’s head table, while white classic floral arrangements and tea lights added an elegant flare to the room. Crystal chandeliers hanging from the tent’s rafters provided a Gatsby feel and we just loved how each guest’s name had been carved out and set delicately at each place!
To cap off a perfect day, Rebecca and Chris had choreographed their first dance and as they finished, Chris pulled Rebecca in for a kiss.
Artisan Bake Shop created this gorgeous four-layer cake, accented with white roses, pink peonies, and anemones, matching the bouquets perfectly!
To thank their guests for being a part of their big day, Rebecca and Chris sent everyone home with personalized bags of coffee that they had roasted themselves with the help of a friend in Plymouth. So unique and delicious!
At some point during the excitement of the evening, Rebecca and Chris were able to sneak away to the dock to share a few moments, their first time alone as husband and wife!
